Technical Difficulties Returns: Rich Claims the Throne & A Legendary Debut
After a long stretch focused on building out the Music Club, we dusted off the mics and brought back our podcast *Technical Difficulties* — and Episode 7 did not disappoint. By popular demand, the chaos, comedy, and storytelling that defined the series are back in full force.
This time, Rich officially claimed his crown — literally. Between riffs about Burger King royalty, Whoppers without cheese (a crime against humanity, apparently), and the eternal debate over what makes a “degree” in rock and roll, the episode set the tone: irreverent, raw, and always unpredictable.
But it wasn’t just jokes. We debuted a brand‑new track woven together with cinematic scenes — a story of kings, betrayal, and desert battles that blurred the line between song, movie, and audiobook. It’s the kind of experiment that defines what we do: pushing rock storytelling into new territory, where riffs meet dialogue and imagination runs wild.
Pedro and Rich broke down the creative process, from voice acting cameos (shoutout to family stepping in as characters) to the inspiration drawn from Bedouin culture and desert landscapes. What started as a miscommunication evolved into one of our most ambitious pieces yet — proof that sometimes the best art comes from accidents.
Of course, it wouldn’t be *Technical Difficulties* without tangents: Ritchie Blackmore living medieval in the woods, fan‑mailed surprises, and Rich planning his own Viking‑style sendoff (crown included). It’s messy, it’s hilarious, and it’s exactly why listeners asked for this podcast to return.
We closed the episode with a look ahead — new songs, new stories, and the same unpredictable energy that’s always fueled us. Whether you’re here for the music, the madness, or both, *Technical Difficulties* is back.
